GeoHealth Conference: Building Connections

DLSPH.JPG

Postponed until the 2020/2021 Academic Year

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and public health direction from the Government of Canada and Government of Ontario, and in alignment with the University of Toronto’s policies on gatherings and events during this time, GeoHealth Conference 2020 will be postponed until it is safe and reasonable to plan again. We expect to return to planning in summer 2020 with a new conference date to come either Fall 2020 or Spring 2021. We are deeply grateful to our many donors, sponsors, faculty advisers, esteemed speakers, and to all of you during this time. Your abstract submissions were completed with notable rigor and excellent science, and we will welcome them again when we are able to safely hold this event. If you have registered, your registration will be refunded within the next 30 days. Contact us with any questions at info@geohealthnetwork.com.

We are thrilled to welcome health geographers to our 2nd annual conference! This year’s theme is Building Connections and with the help of many partner organizations and collaborators, we are excited to provide a space for everyone to connect with a deeper meaning of ‘health geography’. Join us as we explore and share primary research on diverse topics, workshops to build new academic and professional skills, and most importantly, time to connect with peers, researchers, professors, graduate students, and employers looking for top notch talent! Join us at a later date at the University of Toronto. Register and submit your abstract today! Happy Mapping!
